Reading activities

These are some of the activities your child takes part in during reading. It would be great if you could ask your child about these things and what they are doing during these activities.

Programmes have started...

The children are underway with their reading, writing and maths programmes. Each night the children will have a book to read with you at home. Please remember to write a comment in their yellow reading log. The daily sound activity glued into their homework book should also be coloured and the children should be practicing the sound for that letter. Please come in and visit if you have any questions or concerns.

Welcome back for 2015! 

Hopefully you have all had a nice relaxing and enjoyable holiday break!

We start this year with a slightly different format in Room One. This term Wendy Hahn and I will be team teaching. I will be teaching Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and Wendy Hahn teaching Thursday and Friday. We are both excited to be working together alongside your children!

Please feel free to come in and see either of us at anytime or come in and see what your child is up to :)
